Life is a journey of overcoming challenges. We are all capable of more than we believe. More freedom. More joy. More life. But sometimes the journey requires a little help.

Help from our loved ones and people who care. Help from people who take the time to understand us. Support from those who know enough to say, “you got this, keep going.”

Together we overcome our challenges. Break free from our limitations. We take that trip. We explore new frontiers. We build lifelong relationships. And, we discover a new sense of independence.

Frontier Travel Club. Find Your Freedom.

Frontier Travel Club is a luxury travel provider and social group for adults on the Autism Spectrum or with other developmental disabilities. Through travel and community we enable high functioning adults to overcome their limitations and achieve greater independence, socialization, and personal growth.

Frontier experiences

Established in 1997 by Scott Fineman as a summer camp alternative. Our members are high-functioning individuals 16 years old and above with varying developmental disabilities. Diagnoses range from Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or other Developmental Disabilities. Whatever their diagnosis, we help them see the world and build long lasting relationships.

Frontier has traveled to more than 50 countries including Japan, Australia, Iceland, and all over Europe. Frontier Travel Club has also traveled all over North America and the Caribbean. We still have so much more to see.

WHERE OTHERS SEE CHALLENGES,
WE SEE OPPORTUNITIES.

We have rafted some of the best rivers in the west, hiked some of the most scenic mountain ranges, and explored the world’s most interesting global cities and national parks. These incomparable experiences endow our travelers with priceless memories and newfound freedom. With a bond shared by all the staff, campers, and their families, our group is an ever-growing community or “Club.” Travelers feel respected and cared-for as they form friendships that they maintain throughout their lives.

Together we overcome our challenges. Break free from our limitations. And take trips we never imagined possible. We explore new frontiers. We build lifelong relationships. And we discover a new sense of independence.

Our degreed social workers and special educators help travelers handle money, dispense their own medications (only upon request), and to communicate their feelings. Staff also help facilitate travelers’ socialization by helping individuals express their interests and desires to their peers. Frontier provides a supportive and safe environment empowering travelers to communicate with each other and to make more positive decisions on a daily basis without the fear of ridicule.
