Fall 2023 · Past Trip
Portugal.
Nine days through Lisbon, Sintra, and Porto. Pastel buildings, fado nights, and more pastéis de nata than anyone could count. Eight travelers, two staff.
The trip in one paragraph
Lisbon's tile-covered streets and Tram 28, a day trip up to the fairytale palaces of Sintra, then a slow train north to Porto for port-cellar tours and a boat ride down the Douro. The food was the trip's quiet highlight — bacalhau, grilled sardines, and pastry-shop stops between every neighborhood.
“I want to come back here next year.” — A traveler, on the last morning in Porto.
